As a business you will never want to lose time and money whilst experiencing problems with your electrics, so we know how important it is to you to get you back up and running again as quickly as possible.
We work with all types of businesses, so whether it’s your factory, hospitality establishment or retail outlet that has lost power, or you’re suffering electical problems within your office we will get you back working at full capacity. We work efficiently to restore your electrics so you can get back to doing what you do best.
We will keep disruptions to a minimum, safely inspecting and repairing any faults to a safe and satisfactory outcome.
Electrical Testing (EICR)
The test will involve elements of visual inspections to identify any obvious faults with broken equipment or incorrect wiring, dead testing for continuity, insulation resistance and polarity, and live testing to check the system can react effectively in the event of a fault or electrical shock injury.
Depending on the size of the property, electrical testing can take anything from a couple of hours to several days, or even weeks for the largest and most complicated installations.
We can provide quotations for any remedial works required following the test and inspection, to provide a satisfactory test certificate.

Automatic Fire Detection

Whether you’ve got a fault with your electrical items, or suffered a loss of power in your home, keeping you and your family members safe is a priority.
During a call out we will troubleshoot the electrical problem to find out what’s gone wrong, finding solutions to ensure your electricity is working safely as is intended.
We can test and assess any part of your electrics, from consumer units and wiring to your sockets or lighting.
If we cannot fix the fault straight away, we’ll isolate the fault and adopt a temporary solution where possible. We will work to get your electrics working again as soon as practically possible.
Consumer Unit
We will provide a quote for a consumer unit and materials, including installation, testing and certificate for both domestic and commercial.
If the property wiring is being upgraded and a new consumer unit is part of that work, then as well as changing the consumer unit, the complete electrical installation also has to be tested to ensure everything is operating correctly and, depending on the number of electrical circuits and points, this testing can actually take longer than fitting the new unit. Any quote for changing the consumer will include the labour and materials.

Full design and installation available, including ongoing testing and maintenance.
Call Out and Fault Finding
We offer a call out service to both domestic and commercial properties. All our call out charges are inclusive of one hour on site.

I recently had Chris Downes Electrician of INSTA-LEC Electrical Services Ltd wire our ‘Tardis-Shed’ (which is bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside).
It is an odd-shaped building and I wanted the electricity run from the main house to the shed so I could enjoy working in it more often.
The job Chris did was exceptional, extremely tidy and the wires were very neatly run throughout the building and secured to the beams in a clean fashion.
I now have a separate circuit-breaker and plenty of sockets for a heater, various tools, radio and lots of good lighting in the usual dark spots.
